Indrek Stern

Indrek came from Estonia to help at Home for Health. He has an interesting background with an eclectic love for alternative healing modalities.

He has had health issues in his past that spurred his interest. He messed up his knees from the military, suffered from chronic depression and digestive issues which he found medicine had no answer for. Like Einstein said, you can't solve problems with the same thinking that created it.
The thinking had to go. He realized the problem was that if he wanted to live true to his heart, he had to walk the talk.Indrek Stern
For years after that he researched several topics, starting with an interest in training and nutrition. And yet, the way he saw things being practised, they did not make sense. He tried Paleo, low-carb, high-fat, vegetarianism, only whole raw milk and countless other ways of eating... He did barefoot running, intermittent fasting, single-limb training, bilateral training, boxing, MMA, heavy weightlifting, physical therapy and hours of myofascial release every day just to be able to be out of pain.
After a while it became obvious that he was not getting it. Nothing was solving "the problem", whatever it was.
Then he began his quest into integrational therapy: combining the concepts and knowledge of all the different fields and modalities, from training, from nutrition, from physical therapy, emotional and spiritual healing to, finally, get to a point that would solve the digestive, physical, emotional and spiritual dysfunctional patterns at their source - right the crooked foundation shifting beneath his feet.
In the journey he has been led to Home for Health where, he says,  "I've found fertile soil – a place where I can learn, teach, show and be shown what truly works."
