Most just repeat the mantra of "buy organic" and think that will fulfill nutritional needs. While having foods that are free of herbicides, pesticides and are non-GMO we freely admit the organics superiority, but actual nutrient density is totally over looked. Here I would like to submit a new word for most called "BRIX." BRIX are the amount of soluble sucrose and minerals found in any given food. The higher the BRIX, the greater the mineral potential of the food.
Now consider a carrot. The average carrot, grown organically or conventionally, in the supermarket will run between 6-7 BRIX. This same carrot will have between 20-40mg of calcium in it, but a top quality carrot grown in minerally and biologically rich soil with a BRIX reading of 18+ can have over 500mg of calcium in it.
There is even greater difference when comparing trace minerals as the "biologically grown" carrot can achieve 6-10X the trace elements of former.
My question is this: Which do you believe will support optimum health?
Superior quality, superior taste, superior health we invite you to come eat some BRIX.
Just to show the "organic" label can be a sham, check out who owns the companies that market 'organic' and consider if the really have your family's best interest at heart?
